Details

Crawley is one of 101 towns selected by the government to receive £21.1 million of Towns Fund investment. In order to secure this funding, Crawley Borough Council and partners submitted a Town Investment Plan (TIP), highlighting the range of priority projects that will help Crawley embrace its full potential and ensure the town can absorb more investment in the future. The plan took into consideration the impact of the pandemic and looked at the recovery process already underway.

The projects discussed in this plan have been endorsed by government and are guided by the Crawley Town Deal Board, an established group of over 50 representatives from local businesses, community organisations and public  organisations. Governance arrangements will ensure each project is focused on community and business needs.

The projects are presented in line with the government’s priority themes for the Towns Fund:

  1. Urban regeneration
  2. Skills and enterprise infrastructure
  3. Connectivity
