This guidance note has been prepared to assist applicants and developers in meeting the requirements of Local Plan Policy EC5: Employment and Skills Provision. It provides advice on how part (i) preparation of an Employment and Skills Plan, and part (ii) the making of a proportionate financial contribution towards employment and skills initiatives in Crawley, of the policy should be met.

The guidance in this note should be read in conjunction with Local Plan Policy EC5 and corresponding guidance relating to the financial contribution that is set out in the Local Plan Planning Obligations Annex.
