Oak furniture retailer finds home at County Oak

16 December 2019

Furniture retailer, Oak Furnitureland, opened its first showroom in Crawley at County Oak Retail Park in October, bringing seven new jobs to the town. Featuring a mezzanine floor, the 16,200 sq. ft. store was previously used by Argos. The store was opened by the Mayor of Crawley Councillor Raj Sharma.

The new Oak Furnitureland Crawley store is a welcome investment in terms of job creation and is a nice addition to the choice of shops for residents.  I was delighted to officially open the showroom and present the cake to the Posh Club.  I wish them every success for the future.

Councillor Raj Sharma

Mayor of Crawley

We’re delighted to welcome Oak Furnitureland to the Manor Royal Business District.  Being a major retailer in County Oak Retail Park will bring countless job opportunities to the south east's premier mixed activity employment hub as well as extend the offering to consumers in the Crawley area and beyond. We wish them every success in their new Manor Royal home.

Steve Sawyer

Executive Director of Manor Royal BID

Following on from the success of our other stores in the region we’re delighted to be opening our first store in Crawley. We are hoping that the opening of our new store at the County Oak Retail Park site will help to strengthen the retail park as a destination for furniture shopping.

Sherlock Moys

Oak Furnitureland Crawley store manager

County Oak also features Boots, TK Maxx, Curry’s, B&M, Halfords, Next, Paperchase (situated within Next) and two Costas.
