Crawley Borough Council is seeking a construction partner to deliver phase one of the Crawley Station Gateway regeneration scheme (public realm and highway improvements).

The £7.4m scheme, delivered by the Crawley Growth Programme in partnership with West Sussex County Council, will transform the public spaces on The Martlets, Haslett Avenue West and Friary Way, deliver improved cycle and pedestrian access, new landscaping, seating and improvements to the bus station.

The planning application was approved in February and the council is now inviting interested companies to tender for the project. The closing date for bids is 13 June and the contract will start in the autumn, with works starting on site from November 2025.
