Crawley Borough Council has selected Clarion Housing Group as their preferred developer partner to progress with the development of Telford Place Car Park.
The scheme will deliver approximately 300 new homes as part of the regeneration of Crawley town centre. The site, currently used as a temporary car park, will provide a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom homes, including homes for affordable rent, shared ownership, private rent and private sale.
The development is part of the £60 million Crawley Growth Programme, which is unlocking jobs, business space and home building in the town through major infrastructure improvements.
The project is currently progressing to a stage whereby Clarion hope to be able to submit a planning application beginning of 2019. However, before the application is prepared, Clarion would like to hear the views of local residents and stakeholders and have arranged two drop in sessions for the public, as follows:
- Thursday 11 October 2018, 2pm until 7pm, County Mall Shopping Centre (lower mall, near WH Smith)
- Saturday 17 November 2018, 12 midday until 4.30pm, Crawley Library
