Manor Royal Business Improvement District (BID)
In June 2013 businesses collaborated to set up the UK's largest Business Improvement District (BID). Created and managed by Manor Royal businesses, the Manor Royal BID exists to deliver a host of projects, initiatives and improvements specifically benefiting the BID's businesses and their staff.
Vital additional investment is generated by the Manor Royal BID that also provides a supportive and welcoming environment for new and existing businesses and staff.
In March 2018, following a formal, independent ballot, businesses located in Manor Royal voted to extend the Manor Royal Business Improvement District (BID) for a further five years.
As a result, c£2.6m, generated from the Levy, will be invested to improve the business district over the next five years, along with any additional funds the BID team secures from third parties.
38% of companies on Manor Royal voted in the BID Ballot and of those, an overwhelming 84% chose to renew the BID. This vote of confidence means the BID team can now deliver the activities set out in a new Business Plan (document link)
